Enrollment Policy 2010-2011
School Policy:
1. Students are expected to be on time, and practice as recommended by their teacher
Payment Policy:
1. Tuition is due at the beginning of each trimester
2. Monthly payment may be arranged
3. There will be a non-refundable annual registration fee of $30
Make-up Policy:
1. Private lessons may only be missed if the teacher is notified 24 hours in advance, and may be made up during the trimester at the convenience of the teacher
2. Lessons missed by teachers will be rescheduled
3. Unused make-up lessons may not be carried from one trimester to the next
4. If the school is closed fro any reason, all lessons will be rescheduled
5. There are no make-ups for chamber music of group lessons
Instrument Rental:
1. Students must purchase or rent an instrument and purchase music required by their teacher
2. Students are responsible for replacing strings
3. Instruments may be rented from OCMS for $20 per month
Weather Policy:
1. Old City Music School is closes when Philadelphia public schools are closes(due to weather)
